High Holidays 2007

“I have been living in New York for 4 years . . . This was the first time since I moved here that I went to services which not only did I find meaningful but also made me feel as if I was part of a community.”
–T. P., age 31

“. . . I tend to go back and forth on how connected I feel to Klal Yisrael, but I left this year’s services with a refreshed sense that the richness and joy of Judaism are things for ME — not things for “other people.””
–G. S., age 25

“. . . I have been thinking what it was about your service that was so significant for me. I think it was the realness, the connectedness of you to the congregation and the feeling that I was a live person, not just a body, and someone who you wanted to really participate.””
–M. N. (age unknown)
